Processing Kits
Simple-to-use tools lower setup investment, shorten start-up time, eliminate user-to-user variability, and increase confidence in the results obtained. An integrated Flex Chamber on the CodeLink whole genome bioarrays in combination with easy-to-use Parallel Processing Kits allow parallel processing of up to 48 bioarrays per day with minimal investment, training, and laboratory space. As throughput increases, the system can easily be scaled up.
Bioarray Processing
CodeLink whole genome bioarrays are pre-assembled with a Flex Chamber, forming an integrated hybridization chamber on the slide. TheFlex Chamber has several major advantages,:
Hybridization occurs overnight for 18-24 hours in an orbital-moving incubator. When coupled with the non-rigid Flex Chamber, a wave-like effect is created for optimal target movement resulting in efficient hybridization.

After hybridization, the Flex Chamber is removed, and after an optimized stringency wash for high specificity, the array surface is exposed to a Cy5-Streptavidin or Alexa-Streptavidin dye conjugate for sensitive signal capture. A set of fixtures, the 12-slide parallel processing kit, is used to maximize repeatability in signal amplification. The parallel processing kit can process 12 whole genome arrays simultaneously and are easily scalable to specific throughput needs.
