CodeLink Gene Expression Analysis software
CodeLink Expression Analysis software provides automated spot finding and data extraction for all CodeLink Bioarrays. The software allows TIFF images to be processed either individually or as batches. After a TIFF image is submitted to either application, the software will automatically find all spots within the image, and extract the corresponding signal intensity. Additionally, the software will use the bioarray unique serial number to identify the gene identification and description for each spot within the bioarray. If needed, the end user can manually override the automated processes of the software to realign the spot finding results. Both applications provide quality metrics for each spot that are displayed both numerically and graphically. CodeLink Expression Analysis Software v.5.0 provides scatter plots to compare two bioarrays to one another. For the smaller focused bioarrays in a 16-assay format, alternative normalization capabilities have been incorporated, including housekeeping normalization with recommended gene lists, as well as custom gene list normalization. Various output files can be generated for each application including XML (GEML compliant), Excel, and text. CodeLink is an open system that allows users to choose the data mining software of their choice.
